Murchison falls is Uganda’s largest, oldest and one of the most exciting parks in Africa. With the impressive and powerful Murchison waterfall and its remarkable animal populations, this is a must visit in the Pearl of Africa. It should also be remembered that as early as the 1950’s many tourists from all walks of life had already started flocking into Uganda and in these was a famous American author of the book called The old man and sea, Ernest Hemingway who used to visit the falls regularly and wrote some of his books at the top of the falls listening to wild water while being entertained by wildlife. When you visit the Murchison falls you should put your guide to a task of showing the historical site where Ernest Hemingway used to relax.
