Whether you are visiting here for a day trip or having an overnight, Tarangire has something for everyone. The park is impressively splendid for its famous concentration of wild animals especially the elephants and it is also one of the finest birding destinations in East Africa. Over 550 different bird species have been recorded in the park, of which several are threatened or endemic.

Day 4 Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Craters.

This day will be another blast of the entire Safari as we shall be heading to Ngorongoro craters. Established in 1959 as a multiple land use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Masai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera.

Just in case you are a nature, landscape or wildlife lover and you visit Tanzania and you don’t reach the Ngorongoro craters consider your safari incomplete cause no place in this world is as beautiful as Ngorongoro.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge
Meal plan: All meals included

Day 5: Full day game drive Central Serengeti (Central Seronera)

The Serengeti National Park comprises of 1.5 million hectares of savannah, the annual migration of two million wildebeests plus hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras - followed by their predators in their annual migration in search of pasture and water – is one of the most impressive nature spectacles in the world. The biological diversity of the park is very high with at least four globally threatened or endangered animal species: black rhinoceros, elephant, wild dog, and cheetah.

We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch.

Day 6: Full day game drive Central Serengeti (Central Seronera).

Serengeti Balloon Safari is probably the most beautiful balloon flight in the world and the ultimate Safari Experience which makes you enjoy the most beautiful migration of wildebeests through the endless plain of Serengeti. 5:00 am, Serengeti Balloon Safaris will collect you from your central Serengeti lodge or camp, and transfer you by Land rover to the launch site near Masai Kopjes. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. At dawn you will take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whichever direction the winds of the morning take us. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. After breakfast, you are taken to the rendezvous point to meet with your driver guide and continue with your full day game drives.

Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Meal plan: All meals included

Day 7 Transfer and Game Drive to Serengeti North

After breakfast, the tours depart for Northern Serengeti for a full day game drive viewing the great migration. River crossings at Kogatende starts in August as the mega herd settles into the area. Between August- October, game viewing is at its best with river crossings pretty much guaranteed every day. There is no distinct movement as the herds tend to cross back and forth over the river, following the rains and subsequent fresh grasses.

Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Meal plan: All meals included

Day 8:  Full Day Serengeti North (Koga Tende).

After breakfast, you will proceed for a full day game drive viewing the great migration at Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve. After extensive game drive you’ll drive back to your accommodation facility for Dinner and Overnight.

Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Meal plan: All meals included

Day 9 Transfer to Arusha.

After breakfast from your campsite you’ll have early morning game drive in Central Serengeti where you’ll be able to see predators hunting or coming from hunting, then after you’ll drive back to Arusha city.

Accommodation:
Meal plan: All meals included

Day 10: Full day in Arusha and Departure

This will be another amazing day as you will either have a city tour around Arusha or you will visit a coffee plantation where you will make you own cup coffee from just coffee beans from the garden or even prepare your own African Lunch of the day.

Meal plan: All meals included
